Hostel Mallika - Hiroshima

The location of the hostel was absolutely perfect, with all the main attractions within walking distance. It was so convenient to explore the city and visit the memorial park. Plus, having a convenience store right across the street was a big bonus. Another great aspect was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always ready to assist and even held my baggage before check-in, which was a lifesaver.

The showers being on a different floor from the dorm was a bit inconvenient, especially since they were only accessible by outdoor stairs. It would've been more comfortable if the showers were closer to the rooms.

Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, with great English skills. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from all the main attractions. The free breakfast was a nice touch, with toast and jam provided, and the coffee machine was a great addition too.

The capsules were a bit cramped and the design felt a bit outdated. The hard stone micro pillow and heavy blanket weren't the most comfortable.

the lady who checked me in at Mallika was welcoming and helpful. the beds in the hostel were soft and comfortable, and I liked that there was a ventilation system in each capsule. the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the free breakfast of toast and jam was a good bonus. I also appreciated the free tea and coffee available. Cons: No issues 😊.

The hostel had a fantastic location, only a few minutes' walk from the Peace Park. It was also conveniently located across from a convenience store. the hostel provided free breakfast of toast and jam, and there was always coffee and tea available. the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the common room was well-equipped with a TV, sound system, and a kitchen. the beds were private and comfortable with useful amenities like a shelf and plug sockets.

The dorms were quite noisy as there wasn't much separation from the sleeping area. Some people decided to eat at midnight and it was difficult to sleep because of the noise.

She reached out to us beforehand and even provided instructions for a late check-in. It made us feel welcome and well taken care of.

Great location near tourist attractions & public transport. Helpful & knowledgeable staff with good English. Clean facilities with lockers, laundry, showers & toilets. Comfy bunk beds & well-equipped common areas. Good value for money.

We felt safe and secure thanks to the hostel's excellent security measures, including locks and lockers. the facilities were great, with clean showers, comfortable beds, and even provided slippers and towels. the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, making it easy to meet other travelers. it was a great value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at Hostel Mallika for 18 nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff provided excellent service, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. The facilities were complete, with great showers and comfortable capsule beds for privacy. The hostel was always clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. They even provided free coffee and tea, as well as convenient cooking facilities and laundry machines. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose Hostel Mallika again.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely hostel in Hiroshima. The split-level layout was spacious and well-designed, with bedrooms and vanity on one level and a large, well-equipped kitchen on another. The dorm rooms had plenty of space for our luggage and even had the option to secure them extra safely. We loved the complimentary toiletries and the easy walking distance to all the attractions, particularly the Hiroshima museum and gardens. The free breakfast of bread, jam, and butter was a welcome treat for early departures. we had a perfect stay at Hostel Mallika and would definitely return.

They always had a smile on their faces and went out of their way to ensure I had a great experience. the location of the hostel was perfect for exploring the city. Some areas of the hostel seemed to be in need of maintenance, and could have been cleaner. considering the reasonable price and the fact that it is a hostel, I understand that it may not be feasible to replace or repair everything regularly.

Great location, close to bus and train stations, main shopping area, Peace Park. Comfy beds, powerful hot showers, well-equipped kitchen. Friendly staff, easy check-in, good orientation. Free toast, margarine, and three kinds of marmalade for breakfast. Tea and coffee available all day. Perfect for families with 2 small kids.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The check-in process was quick and easy, and they even allowed us to leave our luggage early so we could start exploring the city. The staff made and brought us breakfast each morning, and they also cleaned up after us. The common area had a television with Netflix, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The beds were comfortable and the entire hostel was clean and well-maintained. the staff's consideration and the amenities provided made our stay truly enjoyable.
